We're in the "Land of Enchantment"

Dec. 7:  Hate to disappoint my followers, but today was an uneventful day--no break downs, no flying debris, no ice coated roads, thankfully.  

However, we are rather surprised at the amount of snow that's still on the ground along our route.  In fact, it seems that Jack Frost must have decided to take a trip south just ahead of us.   Another cold snap has hit the southwest (de ja vu) and we've gotten caught in it.  Nights have been so cold that we've decided NOT to water up yet and are dealing with using bottled water for EVERYTHING!  Maybe we can take on water tomorrow in Arizona.  We just keep checking the temperatures for the cities where we plan to overnight. 

Tonight we are in Tucumcari, NM at the Kiva AOK RV Park which is off the old Route 66 corridor.   

I'm posting a photo of the boys that might make you smile.  Traveling really tires them out!!!!
